Yellow cake and love
Today my husband had to go to work. I wanted to surprise him when he got home so I decided to make a yellow cake with chocolate frosting(his favorite). He got home before I made the cake but I decided to make it anyway. As I was getting the flour down from a high shelf it fell about 4 feet and hit the sink with 
a very loud crash. My wonderful husband came running up the stairs to find out if I was ok. He thought I fell off the chair and over the railing from the dining room to the living room. (I am not THAT old yet!!!!!) We laughed a lot and I realized how nice it is to be married to a man who comes running when he hears the ka-bang instead of waiting for me to yell for help. I managed to bake the yellow cake with chocolate frosting and it was delicious. We ate it without falling off the chair.

Mmmm sounds indeed really good! Hahahaha I could see the picture in my head of dad running to you when you had ‘that terrible accident’…!
(ps sorry i did’nt react before on your logs, I made a mistake when I put it in ‘my forvorits’ and thought that you stopped after one log…)

Yes, there is some left over but I think it would be stale by the time it got to you
So I promise I will bake one for the family next time we are in the neighborhood. Yellow with chocolate frosting…lekker
And yah, Klaas was rather pale when he got to the kitchen. He had paused at the bottom of the stairs in the living room and was looking, looking, looking …..where did she go when she fell????? Then he saw me standing in the kitchen and his look changed from scared to relief to ‘what the heck is going on up here’??? but still pale.
Mona did not even come to check it out….I guess that kind of noise is normal to her when I bake

Glad you are OK…That kind of cake sounds pretty good…but dangerous. When you come visit us, we will go to a bakery instead.
