$50 Shell card.
Being unemployed, I am always looking for ways to add to the budget. I got emailed an offer to drive the 2006 Grand Vitara for a $50 Shell gas card. Well, that is ‘almost’ a tank of gas, so I signed up for it.
On my way to have marguaritas with my girlfriends, I stopped and test drove one. I wanted a red one but this kinda beige one was it. They have made some really nice changes since my 2000 Grand Vitara. But I am going to keep mine….and the $50.00 wooo hoooo. Bad picture he took, but by then he knew I was not buying it, so maybe he did not care.
Here we are having drinks and 1/2 price happy hour nachos. It was over 90F. We had planned it weeks ago and wanted to sit on the patio. Notice we are the ONLY ones there, three stubborn friends. Me, E and KW. But we decided to think positive and it was very nice and we stayed for 3.5 hours. One drink and three glasses of ice water each! I got home about 7pm and noticed a lump in my pocket. I reached in and found the keys to the 2006 Grand Vitara. I stole them…..oops. I called him up and said it was too hot to return them tonite, I would bring them back the next morning. Anyway…..he is lucky I did not put them in my robe pocket… they could be missing a week! hehehehehehehe

Our camera is missing. I think blips put it somewhere and of course, he thinks I put it somewhere. What do you guys think….and any suggestions on where to look?
July 3 we went to Taste of Minnesota. There are rows and rows of booths of Minnesota food. I did not get in the picture the pork chop on a stick and other State Fair food, sorry! We did have Sweet Martha’s cookies, rootbeer float, and carmel corn. The food you buy at inflated prices but entrance is free with a huge gathering of ‘over the hill’ bands that are now cheaper to get. This year there was Alice Cooper ….remember School’s Out for Summer and
Welcome to My Nightmare?!!!, the Beach Boys, Davy Jones from the Monkeys, David Cassidy and hmmmm can’t remember the rest. We went on the 3rd because it was not as hot as the other days. Only 85F. The other days it was over 90F and that is crabby territory for me
Many people dress in patriotic colors, especially the children. From the lakes of Minnesota to the hills of Tennessee!
Chocolate chip of course. Martha was a school teacher who decided to sell a few cookies at the State Fair. Now she is a millionaire. Well, I suppose she is not a teacher anymore.
