The Park, the Bird
Mona and I went for a walk the other day.
It was going to be 100 F so I thought we should go for a walk in the woods where it was shady most of the way. When we got to the picnic area by the lake, I saw the day camp had left all their things on the picnic tables. We walked back that way about 1.5 hours later and everything was still there by itself including this walkie talkie. This was about 2 blocks from the beach. Minnesota nice…..don’t touch!
The beach was almost deserted except for some brave parents(see the guy in the shade) who brought their kids for swim lessons.
When we got home I notice it was 98 F. jeeeeezzzzz. Mona laid on the bathroom floor in the basement to cool off. And I was quite grateful for the a/c

d a big storm with lots of wind and it rained 4 inches. We found this bird stuck in our basketball hoop. Blips is not happy. He has forbidden these lovely birds from the yard

Funny! I love the bird in the net! I’m so happy I don’t have to be over there when it’s that warm! We have our windows open all day and all night. It’s great to sleep with fresh air in the bedroom!

we keep them in the zoo, they are trained not to fly away too stellendam…..joking

Stupid people who left everything like that. How could they still not remember after an hour….heatstrokes?
