We got mail!
Monday and Tuesday there was no mail so when I went to the box on Wednesday, I had a nice surprise. We had three boxes and one special one from the old country. I had to wait for Blips to get home so we could open it together.
Ohhhhhhhhhh some nice surprises. First of all my mom had told me about a very nice card she got from Stellendam. She was very impressed. Ok, now I see why….it is really nice! That must have come by pony express…..you sent it on the 13th and we get it Jan 3.
Then the package of birthday and Christmas and New Years 
combined so we had alot of fun opening each package. We made plans immediately to make oliebollen for Valentines Day. And the cake-on-a-stick….well, I am sure it will not make it to state fair time! I have already used my super super pen which I just love.
Blips was so excited about his book because it is kind-of a hacker story. Well, I like mysteries so I asked Blips to read me the Dutch book. (he gave me a dirty look so I think the answer is no). And some real dutch tulips…..I think they will last longer than the ones I can get here. Thank you very much. We had a great time and love everything we got.

oke, we sold the pony and next time we send it by seagull, there are plenty here around. So your mother got the card on time, but you don’t? we don’t get that…its the same state! but of course sorry,sorry

Wow! That is so nice. It is so exciting gettting packages! You deserve it after sending everyone Christmas cookies… homemade ones too! Oh… don´t forget to ask blips how to grow tulips..

@ElMarStel: Mom got her card a week before Christmas. She called me up special to tell me all about it. She asked me to say a big thank you from her but I am a little slow…don’t tell on me

Mmm glad you finally got the package! We have sent it on the 9th…whats slower than a pony? Than we will sell that too and sent the next package with Elmarstels seagull! hahahaha… Did you get our christmascard too now?
Oh, ps: did you see all the extra pen stripes on the box? Jonna helped me when I was writing the adress!

YES! We got your card Saturday. That is so cute. Jonna learns fast how to ‘drive’. And I did not see it at first but I went back to look….and there are Jonna’s directions for the postman

@Mirjam: can I have a whole day with you? I want to start with coffee at Cafe Amore. That is the last place I saw you in person. Remember? Then we will goof around all day doing whatever we want in whatever order. I have about 6 things on the list right now. Finally, we will meet up with our husbands early afternoon for coffee again and follow up with gormet dinner at our house. It won’t be enough for me but it will be a wonderful day for sure.
I can’t wait!!!!
PS Mona is trained better now. Do not expect to get your ears cleaned.

That sounds like sooo much fun! I miss you so much and can´t wait to hang out with you. Of course… I remember Cafe Amore. We didn´t know then that it would be the last time we would see each other for so long. How does Tuesday sound? The 30th I think it is the 30th. Sam has a wednesday bachelor party at night, then rehearsal dinner on thursday and then wedding on friday. So.. I have a whole lot of more time than him!
