My sidekick and Mom’s purse
I went to visit my mom last week. I was gone from Monday to late Friday night. When I got home, Mona was my constant sidekick. She followed me everywhere. Here she is on her Denver Bronco’s blanket. She is not a fan….it was just $1 at a garage sale and it is a really nice blanket. If you sit at my computer and look down from my right elbow, that is Mona’s cave. She is a very tired girl.
Here is my mom in an outfit that made me thirsty for kool-aid. I have no idea what she is looking at up there but …..Mom, what is up with that purse?
Her knee is working pretty good. No cane, no limping, and she even drives. However, I was driving Miss Helen all week.

Oh man! The Broncos were my team growing up! I loved The Broncos! But if Mona has something against them…maybe you shouldn’t let her read this….

I could wash it and send it to you but Mona chewed a hole in one corner. She really does not chew stuff, so I think she was just marking it(like with permanent marker) so I don’t give it away to friends.
I suppose I should not mention Bret Favre today then.

HAHA! Nah, that’s OK…It is hard to follow much NFL over here anyway. Besides, I think even the most die-hard Vikings fan has to respect the great Farve!

Favre (Blips, you of all people should not be spelling somebody elses name wrong
On the first play following the kickoff in overtime, Favre connected on an 82-yard touchdown pass with Greg Jennings and the Green Bay Packers defeated the Denver Broncos 19-13 on Monday night.
Sam, I love it when the Packers win unless they are playing the Vikings, of course!

I am glad your mom is doing better! Lauged at the kool aid remark. I really don´t want to know how they make kool aid into those bright solid colors!
